Abstract:
Routing and Path Coloring (Wavelength Assignment) has
been extensively studied in single-fiber all-optical networks
during the last fifteen years. Recently, variations of the problem
inspired from multiple-fiber networks have gained considerable
interest. In this presentation we will discuss several results in
the field, concerning various simple network topologies. We will
also describe innovative techniques that are employed.
