We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and resourceful Intern for summer 2017. This position is local at in Stamford,CT. We are seeking a student who can work full-time in the summer and part-time throughout the school year.
This individual will be a part of a core team, Intern will participate in project activities that complement academic training. The work range from supporting pilot project, QA testing WAULT Mobile/Web APPs to business analysts, interact and participating client/partner meetings. The intern will have daily interaction with core team to gain practical experience, perform a number of functions using their technical, problem-solving, organizational, and administrative skills. The intern will work on assignments where judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. In addition, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Assist the Production (Application) Services support team in resolving user questions and issues WAULT Platform
Work on WAULT enhancement projects with development team as needed.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Currently enrolled in a four-year college degree program working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Information Systems principles and methodologies.
Possess a basic understanding of computer information systems
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team or independent environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in order to meet assigned deadlines.
Self-starter who takes initiative and is able to work under moderate supervision.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green card holder.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS
Experience with user support.
Experience with QA testing
Flexibility, problem solving skills, and an ability to work well with a variety of people and styles.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) applications.
Experience with Design Tool set
Experience with Mobile APP, .NET Development tools
INTERN DURATION: Summer -12 weeks; Part-time during the school year
PAID POSITION: $10-$15 hourly depending on experience
