Undergrad or grad programming positions with CTI at UConn

The Connecticut Transportation Institute at the University of Connecticut is in need of 1-2 undergraduate student and/or a graduate student for a research project. The students must have proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming languages.  As part of the research effort, the students will help assist with three main tasks:

  • build a frontend GUI in Python,
  • test and enhance a backend codebase that is written in C++
  • link the Python based frontend with the C++ based backend codebase.

Ideally, the appointment will last the entire Spring 2017 semester and students should be available to work at least 10 hours a week. However, the start date is flexible and an earlier start date is negotiable.
