A research paper presentation will be scheduled towards the end of the semester. Details will be announced when the list of papers is assigned. Homeworks should be written individually. However, group discussions for better understanding of homework materials are welcome. We will follow the University Policy on Academic Integrity regarding any cheating and plagiarism. I will make an exception to this rule only in the case of a documented medical or family emergency. You will not be permitted to leave the examination room during the first 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the examination. You will not be permitted to write an examination if you arrive more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the examination. If you miss the examination because of sickness or similar reasons, visit a physician and obtain a note detailing the period during which you were medically incapable of taking the exam. Notify your instructor immediately via e-mail or telephone (voice mail) if you are going to miss an exam before the exam takes place, unless medically impossible. See your instructor as soon as you return to class.
